"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

I have so many exciting things to post and share and I continue to be behind with my blogging! With this weekend being Father's Day weekend, I couldn't wait to post a little something extra special that "we" made for Sam, Caroline's "daddee"! Sam and I love making our gifts for each other for special events like Mother's Day and Father's Day. We are very sentimental! I found myself once again not knowing what to get him so I was super excited to find this D-A-D gift idea on pinterest and couldn't wait to make it! I remembered just this past Wednesday that we were going to Charleston for the weekend to celebrate Kelsey's Sweet 16 so I was almost in a panic (imagine that). I quickly sanded the letters and spray painted them. Catastrophe happened when I over sprayed a part in the A and had to wait for it to dry to sand it back down. I sprayed it again Thursday morning before Bible school and then took the pictures with her holding the letters after her nap (this could be a post for another day...little ma'am didn't want to cooperate). I barely got them ordered at Sam's before Sam came home! Whew was all I was saying actually it was... Huzza! I was pleased that by Thursday evening the pictures were framed and wrapped! I am very pleased with this gift! P.S. The outfit that she's wearing is an outfit that he picked and bought for her, so I had to have her wear it for this special gift!

A few weeks ago Miss Caroline and I went to see Miss Morgan Kate dance at her dance recital! Talk about adorable! MK danced her heart out in both her ballet and tap routines! Caroline loved watching her friend dance! I loved how C clapped and smiled for MK showing how happy she was watching her and how proud of her she was! It was a great morning filled with joy, excitement, and happiness!
I took dance as a child for years and loved it! Caroline will start dance next fall and I hope she will enjoy it too. Since two, she's walked around the house saying she's a dancer girl! Sam is thinking she needs to take gymnastics but we'll let her decide after a year of dance. I think every little girl at some point should be in frills and bows and allowed to dance! These little girls are growing oh so fast! Love them!

Miss Morgan Kate!

C thought MK was a princess girl in her
beautiful costume!

Sweet friends!

Hello, happy summer! I'm way behind with blogging! Now that school is out I can try to catch up! So I'm traveling back to mid May when the newest member of the Heydt family was born. Jackson Davis Heydt is our neighbor, Cooper's, little brother! Caroline couldn't be happier to have a new little friend and now asks when she's getting a brother or a sister! We enjoyed visiting our friends Brandon and Amy as they celebrated their newest member and now being a family of 4! Now that Longshadow Drive has another little one, can't wait to see all the fun we're going to have!

Me with Jackson and Miss Caroline!

I'd say these two are pleased with this new little guy!
